1950 년경, 도야마현 다카오카시에서 불구나 전통공예품에 착색하는 오리이 착색소로서 창업. 400 년의 전통에 길러져온 다카오카 동기의 착색 기술을 기초로, 롯폰기 힐스 전망대벽면을 다루고 활약의 장소를 넓히고 있다.
